Discussion Questions
1. Read Titus 1:11. Can you think of a modern day example of people or institutions teaching things that are dividing households?
2. The early believers in Crete were allowing their Jewish tradition to cloud the simplicity of the gospel. Are there modern day cultural or political traditions that we have allowed to cloud the simplicity of the gospel?
3. In Titus 1:16, Paul says that these false teachers claimed to know God but denied him with their actions. Are there things in your own life you are claiming to know or do but refusing to live?
4. The best way to combat false teaching is to know true teaching. What can we, as a group, do to increase our truth IQ?
5. Pray for one another to grow in the truth and combat falsehood in their homes, workplaces, schools, and church.
