Your family is invited for this friendly competition of adults &amp; kids. Meet out on the grass by the children's center. For those who want to kick back and cheer on the participants, bring a lawn chair. Regular programming will take a break for this event.<br><br><b>Garden Ministry Fundraiser</b><br>The Garden Ministry is having a fundraiser. In the foyer, there are pumpkins and gourds out on a table that were grown in our own church garden. Take a few and make a donation to the Garden Ministry. Please put your donation in the giving station and label it "Garden Ministry."<br><br><b>Baseball/Softball Equipment Donations</b><br>Our church is joining forces with the Manteno Youth Baseball/Softball League (MYBSL) to help kids who might not be able to afford the equipment to play. We have set up a collection bin in the Children's Center, that will be available till the end of September, for used equipment. If you have any used baseball or softball gloves, helmets, cleats, bats, or bags, please drop them off in the red bin in the Children's Center. They will be cleaned up and made available to kids who need them next season! <br><br><b>Youth Rummage Sale</b><br>September 24 &amp; 25 | Manteno's annual Oktoberfest &amp; garage sale days are coming up soon. If you have any "gently used" items or furniture to donate, we would love for you to drop them off in the corner of the gym between Sunday, September 19 &amp; Wednesday afternoon, September 22. If you need your items picked up, we will arrange that too. (Please call the church office.) All proceeds go toward our youth group funds &amp; individual accounts for things like retreats, mission trips, activities, etc. Please support our students by donating and then coming back to shop on Friday, September 24 &amp; Saturday, September 25 from 8am -4pm!
