3. Don’t become complacent

1. Read Luke 12:16-21. Think about how you spend your time, money, and resources. What in your life do you think you’re investing too much into? How can you invest less into that and more into God’s Kingdom?
2. Read Luke 12:35-58 and Revelation 3:15-19. Do you feel like there are any areas of your faith where you have become complacent? Be specific, what are you complacent in and why do you think you struggle with that?
3. If you had to take away one practical step from the past couple messages on living for eternity over the here and now, what would that be? Who can keep you accountable to accomplishing that?

CHURCH FAMILY NEEDS:Pray for Sam Bely who broke his left index finger and had to have surgery on it. Pray for Brittney Savill who broke her toe. Also pray for Patty Ewing as she recovers from her knee surgery. Pray for Luis Caban who has been infected with T.B.<br> <br>MISSIONARIES: This month pray for Larry and Ou Yarger.<br> <br>FAMILY OF THE WEEK: Each week we’ll pray for a different family in our church. This week pray for the Hadleys. <br> <br>HILLSIDE HAPPENINGS: Pray that the church would continue to stay unified under Christ. Pray for our livestream and for the people joining us there. Pray that God would use us to bring His Kingdom here. Pray for the various building projects. Pray for our children’s ministry as it is getting built back up.<br> <br>CURRENT HAPPENINGS: Pray for the current health pandemic in our world and in our country. Pray for medical staff and for our leaders as they navigate how to best help. Pray for students, teachers, administrators, and all other school staff as they head into another school year. Pray for Afghanistan, especially the church there. Pray for the recent destruction due to the hurricanes.

Celebration Meal
We are celebrating what God has done here at the church next Sunday! After church today we are having a meal. Puerto Vallarta is catering a full taco bar, so there is no need to bring anything! We will be excepting donations, but there is no cost to attending the meal, we just want to celebrate together. This will also be the Snyder’s last Sunday, so it will give everyone a chance to say goodbye.
Open Sorting Hour at the Foster Closet
Want to help out at the foster closet but can’t commit to helping regularly? That’s ok! Every Friday from 12:30-1:30 is an open sorting hour. If you’d like to help during the open sorting hour, please text Tammi Fisher at (216) 526-9974.
Groups
We believe that our faith grows best when we surround ourselves with other believers. That’s why we encourage everyone to be a part of one of our groups, where we can intentionally share our lives with one another. There will be a Sunday School group meeting on Sunday mornings before Service at 9:30 starting next Sunday. Our small groups are also in the process of starting for the fall.
