New Haven UMC
Several years ago, Simon Sinek gave one of the most famous TED talks which still has a meaningful impact today. You may have heard of this before. He encouraged us all to "start with the why." This is so true. We have to find our "why" and use this as our starting point in all that we do. We need to know why we do what we do so that we can do it. Sometimes, this is the easy part. Starting with our "why" is a challenge – but not impossible. The hardest part is staying with the "why." Once we define our why, we have to repeat it over and over (and over again!). Most importantly, we have to live it out each and every day. Today, we are digging into our "why." We are looking at why we do what we do. Throughout the next few weeks, we will repeat it and learn how we can live this out every day. We are #ForNewHaven.
