Jesus’ Call to Serve
Luke 5:1-11
Luke 5:4-5 NIV
The Lord may call us to do what seems IMPOSSIBLE.
The Lord commanded a STRANGE but SIMPLE task.
The fishermen RESPONDED with OBEDIENCE.
Luke 5:6-7 NIV
The Lord's call is His ENABLING.
He grants SUCCESS.
He grants ABUNDANT SUCCESS.
Luke 5:8-11 NIV
The Lord's call MAGNIFIES His GRACE.
The call of God sheds LIGHT on DARKNESS and provides TRANSFORMATION.
The Lord uses our SHORT-COMINGS as a means to COMMISSION us for His good.
When we are at our lowest point, we may find the Lord beckoning us to a high calling.
How will we respond?
