Walking Distance Day: Our calling as a church is to have a Corner Church and a valued in-community business within walking distance of people in our city. On September 25, we will be meeting at Corner Coffee Uptown at 9a and then walking to Corner Coffees North Loop, Camden, and Northeast, and then back to Uptown. It will be about 18 miles and take about 8 hours. We will be walking, connecting, having coffee, eating lunch, seeing, and praying. Check out the schedule. You can walk it all or just a portion, or join us in praying for the different neighborhoods.

Corner Church Fall Retreat is October 1-3 at Camp Lebanon. This is an annual Corner Church event where you can find connection, rest, and refocusing. Information on pricing, schedule, theme, and more are all available on the Fall Retreat brochure. Registration is now open!!! Deposits are due on September 19.

As a part of the Corner Church family, you have endless opportunities to get involved and to serve. Be sure to mark your Connection Card with any areas where you have interest in helping. Your community pastor will connect with you from there.

John 19:28-30

Prayer Focus:

Missions: Pray for Roger and Laurie K. They are missionaries in a sensitive region in Africa. Be praying for them as they are reconnecting with investors in their ministry and making new connections as well. We are writing them encouraging notes today.

Local: Pray for people in your world who are feeling hopeless. Pray for opportunities to be an answer to prayer.

Church: Pray for our church planters—Rich and Anna Olson, who are planting in Northeast Minneapolis, and Rachel and Mike Bundy, who are planting in northern Columbia Heights.
