ExpandMain idea: Serving like Jesus means investing in those who are overlooked.
Jesus healed a man with leprosy (Luke 5:12-16)
Lepers were forced to live in isolation and couldn't get closer than 6 feet to any non-leper, including family members.
Jesus touched the man with leprosy before healing him. It was a wonderful display of compassion and love.
Jesus healed a paralyzed man.
Though this man had substantial physical needs, his greatest need was to be forgiven of his sin. That's our greatest need as well. Jesus met that need. He will do the same for us if we turn to Him in faith.

We must be careful not to isolate ourselves from those who are far from God. Far too often, the more we supposedly get to know and love Jesus, the less we get to know and love those who aren't like us.
Make a point to invest in those who don't know Christ.
A great way to serve those who can be overlooked is to invest in children. Here are our current volunteer needs:
o 9:30 AM
Check-in – two people
Toddlers (18-24 months) – one person
2 Year Olds – one person
Kindergarten – one person

Check-in – two people
Infants - one person
Toddlers (18-24 months) – one person
2 Year Olds - one person
3 Year Olds - one person
1st Grade - one person
4th Grade - one person
o Wednesday Kids Club (6:30 – 8:00 p.m.)
