The Busy Church
1. Jesus recognized their accomplishments. (Revelation 2:1-3)
Jesus has complete authority over the pastors and people of His church.
Jesus noticed the work of the church.
Jesus noticed the urgency of the church.
Jesus noticed the resolve of the church.
2. Jesus recognized the missing piece. (Revelation 2:4)
If the love of Jesus is not first in each of our lives, He is not first in His church.
We will simply exist, doing the right things in Jesus’ name by our power.
Jesus does not just want your heart; He requires your life!
3. Jesus provided the remedy. (Revelation 2:5)
Remember, repent, and do what you did at first.
If we do not, we will be a church that claims God without His presence, promise, or power.
4. Jesus provided encouragement. (Revelation 2:7)
If you hear and heed God’s Word, you will experience eternal life.
Jesus said to hear what the Spirit says.
