Dedication After Defeat | Exodus 34:27-33

Exodus 34:27

A. Who is Moses?

1. Saved by God

Exodus 1:22

2. Redeemed by God

Exodus 2:12

3. Used by God

Exodus 4:11-12

The key: No matter who we are or what we have done, through Jesus, God can and will use us. We just need to be available.

B. Dedication After Defeat

1. The Old Covenant

2. Godly sustainment

Exodus 34:28

3. The second round of the Ten Commandments.

The key: Not only do we need to keep our dedication to the Gospel after defeat, but God, through Jesus, keeps His dedication to us even after our defeats.

C. The Shining Effects of God's Presence

1. Enriched with treasure

2. Adorned with beauty

Exodus 34:30-32

3. Reverenced with holiness

Exodus 34:33

4. Respected with humility

The key: When we spend proper time in God's presence, we should naturally radiate His presence and embody the Word in the world.

D. Our response?

1. Recognize Whose you are and realize what He can do with your availability.
2. How do you handle defeat?
3. Does a veil live in your heart that is keeping you from a radiant encounter with Jesus? Only Christ can remove it.
