WHAT IS THE SECRET TO GREATNESS?
Humble yourself = Exalted
Exalt yourself = Humbled
“The greatest among you must be a servant. But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Matthew 23:11 - 12
“For whoever exalts himself will be humbled. And whoever humbles himself will be exalted.” Matthew 23:12
EXALT or HUMBLE?
HOW HUMILITY HANDLES OUR AMBITION
“Therefore whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:4
Exalt yourself – Be demanding
Humble yourself and be depending
HOW HUMILITY HANDLES OUR NEED TO BE NOTICED
Exalt yourself – that’s when you need others to notice you
Humble Yourself – you notice the needs of others

HUMILITY HANDLES OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
“Two men went to the temple to pray.” Luke 18:10
