We are open with two services at 9:30 and 11:00 am.
At this time masks are optional at both services.

Children's Ministries (birth through 4th grade)
Children's classes are available during the 11:00 service.
Student Ministries (Pre-Teens and High School)
Students meet at 11:00 on the first Sunday of the month for "Sunday Funday", and at 9:30 all other Sundays for "Rooted" (Bible teaching).

#1: "Using Influence Well"
A. What's at the Core of our Leadership Failure?
* Statistics say trust in organizations and many leaders is dropping.
And it's impacting more than you may realize.
B. What is Jesus' Model of Leadership?
*Jesus came to live in a violent, hate-filled world; and to demonstrate love and sacrifice in the face of rejection and abuse.
From early in his life (Luke 2:52) to the cross (Philippians 2:6-8) Jesus was demonstrating his influence style.
C. Our Response to Bad Leadership
Jeremiah's response to the destruction of Jerusalem and people taken away into captivity was tears until there were no more tears to cry. (Lamentations 2:11)
- God gave them a command to deal with their captivity to bad leaders in a pagan culture. Jeremiah 29:4-7
(1) Let them know He send them into Babylon.
(2) They were to bless their foreign captors.
(3) Their attitude would bring their blessing.
D. How do we Build Influence?
"Leadership is influence; the ability of one person to influence others." - Oswald Chambers in his book, Spiritual Leadership.
Godly influence is that which follows in the footsteps of Jesus. (Mark 8:34)
You have to begin with personal, inward influence.
What do you think needs to change in your life to be seen as a follower of Christ by others?
Are you willing to commit 1% of your time to that thing that needs to change?
1% of your day is 14 minutes and 24 seconds.
Biblical Leadership is found in the heart of those willing to grow to be more like Jesus in wisdom and favor with God and man.

ONGOING MINISTRIES
WATERBROOK KIDS - SUNDAY MORNINGS 11:00 am
Kids ages birth through 4th grade meet in age appropriate classes every Sunday at 11 am.
WATERBROOK STUDENTS - Students 5th through 12th grade
We are now meeting on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
Sunday schedule:
- 1st Sunday of the month "Sunday Funday" at 11:00
Sunday Funday is a mixture of challenges and games while working through a bible study theme for the month. Invite your friends and get ready to have fun and laugh as we get into God’s word in a way you probably never have on a Sunday morning before!
- All other Sundays: "Rooted" at 9:30
Rooted is all about leaning heavy on biblical teaching and taking students deep into God’s word and helping them understand their faith and what they believe. Starting March 14, we will spend the rest of the semester working through Philippians verse by verse to examine what Paul wanted his readers to understand and how that applies to us too.
Wednesday Schedule:
6:00pm - 6:30pm - Hangout Time (all students invited!)
6:30pm - 8:00pm - Wednesday night bible study & worship
8:00pm - 9:00pm - Hangout Time (7th-12th graders)
9:00pm - Dismissed
ADULT BIBLE STUDIES - SUNDAY MORNINGS

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY - THE HARBOR
The Harbor is a ministry for young adults ages 18-30. We are dedicated to the pursuit of Christ through the reading and application of His Word, and walking in community with believers. For more information - text CONNECT to 469-972-7427 to access the information request form
LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS!
We are in serious need of ministry volunteers to help staff many of the ministries we offer at Waterbrook. Please consider ways you can help us keep these ministry areas operational and open while we attempt to staff ministry options while some in our congregation do not yet feel comfortable being at church or serving as they were pre-Covid.
We are in need of volunteers to help in Waterbrook Children's Ministries on Sunday mornings.
We're looking for some fantastic people (adults and teens) willing to serve the youngest in our Waterbrook family. There are needs with toddler and preschool classes to play with these wonderful kids. We also need volunteers to help in our elementary school classes. All WBF Children's Ministry volunteers receive a background check for safety.
A/V TEAM could use some help!
Our AV team has been phenomenal in 2020 keeping us operating through media channels. Some are needing a break and others have returned to other serving areas. We are in desperate need of sound, computer, camera and lighting volunteers. Training is provided. Please text CONNECT to 469-972-7427, then complete the serving area of the link you receive.
