What do I want most?
What would you wish for if you knew it would come true? Perhaps a new or restored relationship, health, wealth, or freedom from some difficulty or besetting sin? What if we could have all of the above, but without the presence of God – would we be satisfied? Too often, we’re tricked into substituting God’s good gifts for God Himself. Our fixation on the gifts hinders us from finding the deep satisfaction that can only come from truly knowing Him. Will we join together to seek a deeper encounter with God’s glory, a greater sense of His presence and goodness in our lives? Or will we be distracted by, and settle for, lesser things?

• Treasuring God: Moses often references his relationship and the favor he has with God. What relationship do we have with God? How is it similar to / different from Moses's?
• Being Transformed: Moses is able to call upon his relationship with God to know God more. Are we asking to know God more in our own lives? What does that look like?
• Loving Others & Pursuing Unity: What is Moses doing in verses 12-16 for the people of Israel? Seeing how Moses loved his people and pleaded with God for them, where are we to do the same for the people around us? If we're not, how do we grow a care for our "neighbors"? And what does this look like in the church? How do we practically love the people in the church in the same way Moses loved his people?
