This week, Pastor Zak shared part three of the "My Church" series to help us re-center our hearts on the mission and values of Revolution Church. This message focused on the defining distinctive that at Revolution, we pursue all that God has for us. Our mission as a church is to start a revolution of grace in one life at a time, but we believe that salvation is just the beginning of what God has prepared for us. Unfortunately, people are often uninformed, apathetic, or fearful about what going "all in" with God looks like, so they settle for less than God's best. But we know that everything God has for us is good, because He is good! Let's each take our next step in pursuing God. When we do, His power and presence will transform our lives!

Baptism in the Holy Spirit — Living a Spirit-Empowered Life
Some are just uninformed.

Choose a question to create openness.
• Do you consider yourself uninformed, apathetic, or fearful when it comes to pursuing all God has for you? What steps do you need to take to go all in?
• As a group, read 1 John 5:8. In Scripture, the Spirit, the water, and the blood bear witness to our salvation. Does your life reflect all three?
• How has your understanding of the Holy Spirit affected your relationship with Him? As a group, discuss who the Holy Spirit really is. Share examples of how the Holy Spirit has changed your life.

We declare that fear will not keep us from the “more” You have for us. You are in control, and we have nothing to fear. Today, we ask for, and receive, the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Help us live the God-empowered life You have always intended for us to live! In Jesus' name, Amen!

• Father, we come to You today wanting everything You have for us. Help us grow in knowledge, seek You with passion, and pursue all You have for us with boldness. We declare that fear will not keep us from the “more” You have for us. You are in control, and we have nothing to fear. Today, we ask for, and receive, the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Help us live the God-empowered life You have always intended for us to live! In Jesus' name, Amen!
