Biblical love is a decision not just an emotion:
- According to God: We determine to love.
- Little children, let us not love in word or speech, but in action and in truth. (1 John 3:18)
- Can we give away what costs us in order to love?
Love reflects the heart of God:

Love reflects the heart of God:
- We are to choose to love what God values.
- We are not to love what God forbids.
- Biblical love will not lead us to do anything contrary to the will of God.
Love is beautifully displayed in a family called the church:

- Paul is saying the church is an extended family.
- Focus on their good points and my bad points, rather than on my good points and their bad points.

When the church is healthy, it is the most attractive thing to a human heart.
A Life Group is a place where we grow in Christ together.
I invite you to do three things:
1. Strongly consider joining a Life Group this fall.
2. Read Romans 12:9-18 every day this week
3. Admit to God you cannot do this on your own and ask for His grace and power to help you.
