A Parable for our time
Luke 19:11-27

HOW SOON do you think Jesus’ 2nd Coming will be?
-Less than 4 years
-Between 4-20 years
-More than 20 years
-“I believe the Kingdom is here and looking for a second literal “coming” is a misguided interpretation of Jesus’ words.”
-I don’t do predictions.

JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED

1. The FAITHFUL will be rewarded.

2. The WICKED will be judged & punished.

3. The UNFAITHFUL will suffer loss of reward.

APPLICATION:

“Put this MONEY to work until I come back.”

APPLICATION:

“Put YOUR LIFE to work until I come back.”

APPLICATION:

Is there any parallel between the reward they're given in the parable and the reward that is coming to us in Eternity?

WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE?

Is the pursuit of my life focused on God’s Kingdom or my own?

We are here to lead people to Jesus and fully follow Him together.

Maintaining a healthy “WORK” mindset:

1. WORK as if Jesus were my immediate supervisor, because He is!
2. OBSERVE the ways my work helps people.
3. REMEMBER that everyone I work with will spend eternity somewhere.
4. KEEP in mind, my actions and my words can either help or hinder God’s Kingdom work.
