Be Happy (pt. 4)

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ministrycentered.churchcenter&hl=en_USSeeing as how we have had 2 weeks of different teaching/teachers, let’s catch up real quick!
As we were in Philippians 1, we recognized that:
God’s grace fills our hearts with Joy and we experience that by experiencing God’s unearned forgiveness! Nothing can stop him from finishing what he has already started!
God will use every opportunity—good or bad—to spread the message of Jesus, so rather than complaining, we should rejoice that God can use us to share the light of Christ
If we don’t give up, We grow more in our tougher seasons don’t we??
The testimony of the former drug addict who is now free because of Jesus has a lot of power because of what God has been able to do! God will use every opportunity to show his mighty work and spread the truth that Jesus is the answer!
This forces us to live through and deal with the emotions of the situation…
Maturity means being able to live with all kinds of emotions and still focus on Jesus! And because of that, difficult circumstances become bearable if we keep Christ and his purpose as our focus!
I am fairly convinced that I am not telling you anything you don’t already know, but sometimes we need the reminders because the “moments” seem bigger than we can handle! The joy seems absent in the situations!
