God established marriage to EXPAND His Kingdom in all of history.
Husbands, Align Your Marriage with God’s ORDER
Because of the REDEFINING and dismantling of the home, death has replaced life, conflict has replaced harmony and pain has replaced PEACE.
God has an order or flow in which things are supposed to FUNCTION. When we leave God’s order, we lose God’s presence, blessings, power and His participation in the trials and challenges of LIFE.
Husbands, Come Under Kingdom AUTHORITY
When a man of God who is a Godly husband to his wife falls in line under the Lord’s leadership, that husband then MODELS for his wife how she is to function.
When men align themselves under God, God COVERS that man and his entire household.
God desires to COVER Kingdom men when we humble ourselves under Him and align our thoughts, actions, decisions and leadership under His SUPREME authority.
One way we can tell if a man is not under divine Headship is if he rarely, or ever, brings God’s POINT of VIEW into the discussion.
What is the best thing a man can do in leading his home and nurturing a Godly marriage that honors God? That man needs to ask this question: “What is the MIND of Christ on this matter?” and then FOLLOW it.
A wife will eventually REST when she sees that her husband is under God’s authority.
Husbands, LOVE Your Wife Like Christ Loved Us
Most men shower a woman with love to get her to say “I do”. But the Biblical way is to have her say “I do” so we can SPEND the rest of our lives showering her with LOVE.
Husbands, the purpose of our strength & leadership is not DOMINATION, but glorification. We’re to glorify and beautify our wives. We do not abuse them, we EMBRACE them.
Husbands are to OUT-SERVE their wives consistently because the essence of true LEADERSHIP is servanthood.
A husband needs to STUDY two things: The Bible and his wife. Why? Because both are hard to INTERPRET.
Husband, your WIFE is the thermometer and she’ll tell you what the temperature is in your HOME. But husband, you get to set the temperature by how you LOVE your wife.
