DaVontaé Edwards
Our souls magnify the Lord! Our spirits rejoice in God our Savior!
Who are they that fear the Lord? He will teach them the way that they should choose.
For God has pardoned our guilt and forgiven our sins, freeing us to live in God’s love.
Who are they that fear the Lord? He will teach them the way that they should choose.
God’s mercy is for those who fear Him, whose lives belong to God and God alone.
Who are they that fear the Lord? He will teach them the way that they should choose. Amen.
~adapted from Ps. 25:11-15, Luke 1:46-50
Invocation and Lord’s Prayer: Tim Hill
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily
bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
*Hymn of Praise: “All Creatures of Our God and King” (63) v. 1,4,5
Our Future: Katie Shull
Stephanie DeRose and Jon Brannon
From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea,
Creation’s revealing Your majesty.
From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring,
Every creature unique in the song that it sings,
All exclaiming,
Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky
and You know them by name.
You are amazing, God.
All powerful, untamable,
Awestruck, we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim,
You are amazing, God.
Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go,
Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow,
Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light,
Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night
None can fathom. Chorus
(Laura Story/Jesse Reeves)
Prayer of Thanksgiving: Lee Ann Hill
*Gloria Patri
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, it now and ever shall be, world without end, Amen, Amen.
Music of Thanksgiving: Jon Brannon
Pastoral Prayer: Rev. Alicia Porterfield

The fear of the Lord our days will prolong; in trouble afford a confidence strong; will keep us from sinning; will prosper our ways; and is the beginning of wisdom and grace.
The fear of the Lord is lowly and meek; the happy reward of all that Him seek; they only can fear Him the truth can discern; for living so near Him His secrets they learn
(Congregation joining)
The fear of the Lord forbids us to yield. It sharpens our sword and strengthens our shield. Then cry we to heaven, with one loud
accord, that to us be given the fear of the Lord.
Rev. Eric S. Porterfield
Benediction: Rev. Eric S. Porterfield
Postlude: Jon Brannon

"The church on the corner with the big columns" is who some say we are. While blessed with a building, the life of our church expands beyond these six columns.
We are a family of faith striving to love God and love others, acknowledging the greatest commandments as defined by our Lord. These are the foundation for our existence; and everything we do, whether inside or outside these columns, must reflect love of our God and love for others.
The four inner columns represent the four primary areas of the life of our church: Inreach, Outreach, Spiritual Growth, and Missions.
