S = seeker-sensitive
“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:10)
I = inspirational
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
(Encourage: cheer, buoy up, uplift, inspire, motivate, spur on, stir, stir up, fire up)
E = evangelical
Jesus: “In the same way that the Father gave me a mission in the world, I give you a mission in the world.” (John 17:18) [MSG]
R = relational-minded
“Every day in the temple complex, and in various homes, they continued teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.” (Acts 5:42)
R = relevant
