Justice & Injustice

Biblical Wisdom is:
•PRACTICAL
•INTELLECTUAL
•MORAL
Biblical Wisdom is:
•PRACTICAL – it is good for every day living (1 Kings 10:45)
•INTELLECTUAL
•MORAL
Biblical Wisdom is:
•PRACTICAL – it is good for every day living (1 Kings 10:45)
•INTELLECTUAL – it can be learned and shared with others (Pro. 1:2-4)
•MORAL
Biblical Wisdom is:
•PRACTICAL – it is good for every day living (1 Kings 10:45)
•INTELLECTUAL – it can be learned and shared with others (Pro. 1:2-4)
•MORAL – it causes you to put others before yourself (Pro. 1:3)
Practicing the Morality of Wisdom:
•With wisdom we distinguish between right and wrong (righteousness)
•With wisdom we seek to make right the wrongs that have taken place (justice)
•With wisdom we restrain our personal desires to take advantage of others (equity)

Practicing the Morality of Wisdom:

Micah points out two sins:
IDOLATRY replaces the WORSHIP OF GOD with the pursuit and protection of our desires.

INJUSTICE replaces the CARE OF OTHERS with the pursuit and protection of our desires.
God’s justice is both RETRIBUTIVE and RESTORATIVE, he requires that we labor at both.
Practicing the Morality of Wisdom

"In the true God there is absolute might combined with absolute right, and this endears him to his faithful worshipers."
