Come, Lord Jesus
The God who reveals himself in Jesus Christ is the God who comes. He does not leave us, abandon us or forget us. Jesus is Lord of all, Lord of life and grace. When he is invited to come, he always comes. Praying the the Prayers of the Journey we can open for us new and powerful experiences with the Living Jesus.

Is Jesus only useful, does he matter only if he can do us a miracle?
Renewing our confidence in Lord Jesus.
Discussion and Application Questions for Group Life Communities and Personal Study- Matthew 9:18-26. (Another account of this story is found in Mark 9.21-43)

Observe

- Read the passage several times. Use different translations.

- Who were the main characters in the story? How would you rate their desperation level as they met Jesus?

- What is the significance of the woman touching Jesus?

- What is the purpose of the healing miracles for Jesus?

Interpret

- Why do you find it difficult to ask Jesus to help you with your problems?

- Have you ever faced a situation where the attitude of people around you deflated your faith? What can you do in that situation?

- What do you expect to happen when you ask Jesus to come? What assurances do you have that Jesus hears and responds to your prayers?

Application

- How can you live in the assurance that God comes to you as you cry out to God this week? How can your group help encourage you in your faith walk this week?

- What is a ‘’big prayer’ that you would like to bring to God this week? Can your small group join you in praying for this request?

- What is a prayer request for our church that you and your group can pray about this week?

Let’s pray for each other as we grow in the realization that God is with us this week. Don’t forget to thank God for the answers.
