4Tucson Church of the Week

Each week, we learn about and pray for another church in Tucson. We are a new church plant in the Vail community from Christ Community Church in Tucson. Although our first year was significantly impacted by COVID, God gave us the gift of community in a very meaningful way! What is happening within the church that you are excited about? After waiting nearly a year for the local high school to open up for our Sunday gatherings, we were recently able to begin holding our Sunday service at Cienega High School! We are so excited for this transition and the opportunities it will give us to continue to meet new friends in our community! What are one or two prayer needs within the church? 1. We are kicking off our kids ministry on June 13 and still have quite a few loose ends to tie up to be ready for that to happen. 2. We want to see our church grow with those who are spiritually disconnected, taking steps toward a life-changing relationship with Jesus, so our prayer request would be that our church and our leadership would live intentionally on mission with Jesus. Anything else you’d like to share? We have a super cool ice cream cart that we've been able to take around to various events in the community. It's been an incredible tool for us to be able to meet new friends and invite them to our church!
