Flower Mound First Baptist
Kingdom Living - Week 5
KINGDOM LIVING In the Sermon on the Mount, we are told how we can live according to Jesus. What should we do when we are angry? How can we remain pure in a godless culture? How important is it to keep promises? You may have heard it said one way or the other, but Jesus says something different to you. He speaks grace & truth.

About FM First Baptist
Flower Mound First Baptist has been making much of Jesus in the Timber Creek area for over 30 years. Every week we gather to magnify Christ in word & deed, mature as Christ-followers, and multiply and make disciples for Christ. Our garden is a living parable of the Good Gardener's work in and through us.

Women’s Retreat
JUNE 5 | 9A-1P You’re invited for our 2021 retreat. It’ll be held in Fellowship Hall. No charge to attend. We’re celebrating who God is and what he has done. We’ll also consider his great and precious promises for days ahead. We dig into the Word, relax and laugh with some games, and other ‘surprises.’ Lunch will be served. Register with Gretchen.
Donate to VBS
JULY 12-16 Check out the tree in the lobby. We’re looking for a few items and hope you can help us by donating them. Grab a card & return the item next week. VBS is one of the largest outreach efforts of FM First Baptist. Saved people serve people together.
Generosity Impact
MISSION FLOWER MOUND Five percent of every financial gift supports mission work in our community. Every month the church gives to Young Life in Flower Mound and Lewisville, a local Awana missionary, and CCA for community benevolence. It also supports mission work to Timber Creek Elementary School and the Park apartments.
Be a Hero to a Kid
Timber Creek ES Mentors FMFB & TCES are partnering this fall to help kids. We will be a hero by hearing their stories and encouraging their work. You do not have to commit today. Would you pray & consider it? If so use a YELLOW card and we’ll be in touch soon.
Honor Memorial Day
MONDAY, MAY 31 We celebrate freedom, but we remember the sacrifice. Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for brave men & women who died in service to freedom. The office will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.
Upcoming Series.
SUMMER IN THE PSALMS We often think psalms merely hymns and other spiritual songs. Yet, the book of Psalms is a book of prayers. They were the prayers of real people struggling to believe in God and at the same time live in a world sometimes hostile to faith. We don’t learn the Psalms until we pray the Psalms.

Giving is an act of worship. We acknowledge God as the supreme treasure of our hearts & homes. We give to him as a way of praising and thanking him for his abundant grace toward us. We trust the Father will care for us as he does the rest of creation. It also frees us to live simple lives unhindered from what moth and rust can destroy.
