There are so many things in this world that are vying for our attention, adoration, and worship. Everyday is a struggle just to not pay attention to them, scroll past them, or ignore them. If they would cause us to worship anything but God, they don't need to be simply ignored they need to be defied. To rebel against it. To tear it down. Demolish it, or whatever verb you want to use. As followers of Jesus Christ we are not gonna bow to no one or no thing other than Him and Him alone!
Daniel 3:1, 3, 12-13, 16-18, 27 NKJV
· Captives in a foreign land
· Seen friends and family killed
· Refused to let their hearts to get bitter or broken (give up)
I. CAPTIVES BUT NOT IN THEIR HEARTS
· Refused to let their worship be stolen
· Music plays we are expected to bow
Fear, cancer, the latest trends, homosexuality, transgender, abortion, drugs, alcohol, porn, etc…
If your heart is bitter or broken you will give up and bow
Personal decision: who is your Lord? No one can make that decision for you
II. AN UNCOMMON WALK (verse 12)
“Certain Jews”
· Refusing to bow to the music makes you uncommon
· Easy to bow to the music
· Satan still responding the same way (verse 13)
· RAGE: music gets louder
· Satan has always wanted to be worshiped and we do when we worship his things

III. FAITH PLEASES GOD
· Substances= confirmation and title deed
· Evidence = conviction of the reality
· No matter what (verse 17-18)
