Observe-

- What is a witness? What were these disciples called to witness about?

- What does repentance mean? What is the connection between repentance and baptism?

- After Pentecost, what did the new believers devote themselves to? How would you describe devotion?

Interpret-

- How would you explain the power you receive when the Holy Spirit comes into your life or ‘comes upon you?’

- How are believers today witnesses of the resurrection?

- Have you ever been ‘cut to the heart’ by the words of Scripture or a Christian speaker or the Holy Spirit? What is that experience like?

Apply-

- How is the Holy Spirit working in your life? Where are you finding opportunities to witness about Jesus?

- What spiritual practices encourage your participation in community life as described in verses 42-47? Which aspects of community life would you like to improve upon?

- Who do you know that needs to be encouraged to join a life-giving Christian community, like Group Life? How can you encourage them to participate?

Follow up

- Pray that you will experience a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit on your life this week.

- Check in with one other person to hear what God is doing in their life.

As we live into the Four Principles for Living the Missio Dei:
*Share in life with people who do not yet know Jesus.
*Inspire others to know and follow Jesus by living your faith attractively.
*Grow with others in your faith and obedience.
*Serve others with sacrificial love.
