WORD POWER: Fear (deilia)- cowardice or timidity.

INTRO: Fear has a Voice but Faith has a Voice...

- Fear tells us to Worry about our Finances.
"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?" Matthew 6:25-26

- Fear tells us to Ignore our Finances.
"For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you." Isaiah 41:13

- Fear tells us to Hoard our Finances.
" There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. 25 The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. 26 The people will curse him who withholds grain, But blessing will be on the head of him who sells it." Proverbs 11:24-26

ANALYSIS: Overcoming the Spirit of Fear on our Finances

1. Tap into your Power
"And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. " 2 Cor 12:9-10

2. Give as an expression of Love
" Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19 We love Him because He first loved us." 1 John 4:14-19

3. Create a sound Plan
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s
will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2
