I'm not angry, I'm just frustrated

Frustration is anger

Jesus said our emotions come from within (our heart)

There is a good, righteous, crusader type anger

Righteous anger must not lead to sin (Ephesians 4:26)

Wise people are always humble

Whatever is in us will eventually come out of us

If we allow envy and selfish ambition to get lodged in our heart, we can justify any behavior

We say it is not a WHAT, it is a WHO

Fights and quarrels come from the desires that battle inside of us

We are angry because we are not getting what we want

The root of our anger is not out there, but inside our heart, because we are not getting what we want

If we don’t recognize the root of our anger is inside us (and not them), we have the potential to take destructive and extreme actions

Say this: “You know what part of the problem is - don’t you? I'm not getting what I want”

Jesus calls us away from self-centeredness and arrogance and toward “others-centeredness" and humility
