PROMISE KEEPER | PART 6
MAY 6 + 9, 2021 | MATT EVANS
Deuteronomy 4:39-40
→Today’s Promise:
When right with God → Right in our family
(“go well with you and your children …”)
There is a difference between Jesus as a Member of the family and Jesus as the Center of the family.
1) Christ-centered does not mean perfect.
2) Seize opportunities to put Him in the center:
a) Everyday conversations
b) Important decisions
c) Commitment to church
d) In the interruptions
e) Most decisive moment … → when sin shows up.
3) Realize it is a fight
a) Fight more in prayer than in person
b) Grow in grace
4) Keep love a verb; close the gap between intentions and actions.
5) You can seek to BE first or GO first …
