God did not say that! (Part 5)
“It doesn’t matter what you believe as long as you are sincere.”
Based on your knowledge of the Bible, if you confess that Jesus is the Holy One of God, bow before Him as the Son of God, and believe in Him, are you saved? (Mark 1:24, Mark 3:11, James 2:19)
Your sincerity is insufficient if it is not in agreement with Scripture.
1. Sincerely believe by faith. (John 14:1-6)
Believing in God and Jesus is to trust them in obedience.
"If you do not believe and adhere to what the Bible says, you will spend an eternity in Hell.”
2. Sincerely align your beliefs to God’s Word. (John 14:6)
Our opinions have no bearing to the Word of God.
If you are sincerely following anything other than the TRUTH alone, you are headed down a path to eternal death.
3. Sincerely follow THE Way. (Romans 10:1-3)
You can be sincerely devoted to God and be lost.
Jesus must know me as His own, and the evidence of that relationship is that I do the will of His Father.
