We all know that we live life 24/7, but God intended 24/6. Our new reality over the last year has been even more pressed.
Formerly, we had natural boundaries that created some margin. We whined about the commute, but we had time to ourselves that separated work from home, school from home. But all of those were absorbed by quarantine, stay-at-home orders, and other cocooning structures. Some created free time with firm boundaries; others suffered more burnout because it never ended.
How do we rebuild appropriate margin in our electronic world?
“Moms need margin more than any body and are least likely to get it.”
Proverbs 31:28-31 NLT
So how can we give moms MARGIN?
RESPECT. . .
One of the greatest things we can do FOR moms, and one of the things that must be expected and practiced BY moms is BOUNDARIES!
“And it's not like you're a great mom because you've been awake 20 out of 24 hrs.”

Her children. . . bless her.
It’s the intentional moment when, in the midst of something that mom has done for us, we stop and we hug her and give our thanks, not just for what she has done, but for WHO SHE IS!
BLESS your moms with affection & honor.
PRAISE. . .
“Her deeds publicly declare her praise.”
Praise is about ACTIONS.
It means the world when we specifically praise her for what she does.
Proverbs 31:31
“Reward her for all she has done.”
“Give her what she deserves.”
THAT’s what MARGIN is all about!
