Giving does wonderful things in three ways
1. Giving does something for others. It relieves their need, restores their faith in their fellow man and makes them thank God.
2. Giving does something for ourselves. It guarantees our Christian profession and wins us both the prayer and the love of others.

Giving generously to those in need causes three good things to happen
1. Through the gifts given to those who need them, God meets their needs
2. The recipients of these generous gifts will break out in thanksgiving to God, joyfully expressing it!
3. God enriches us so that we may give even more abundantly.
