When has someone been radically generous to you in a way that maybe didn't even make sense or was unusual? If not to you, when have you seen someone be radically generous to someone else?
START THINKING
Read John 3:16. In addition to simply explaining the Gospel message, how does this verse show the link between loving and giving? Why do you think God chose the word "gave" to describe sending Jesus? What are other words that could have been used instead of "gave" (i.e. "sent," etc.) and how would it have changed the message about the radical generosity of our Father?
Read Matthew 23:23. Does Jesus dilute the importance of tithing in this verse? Why or why not? What does Jesus command about tithing in this verse?

Read Matthew 6:19-21. When have you seen your heart follow your treasure in a earthly-treasure way, maybe even to a negative extent? When have you seen your heart follow your treasure in a positive, heavenly-treasure way?
If our treasure reveals where our heart is, what would you say is honestly revealed about your heart from time to time based on where you put your treasure?
On the other hand, when has your faith in a radical christianity revealed radical generosity within you?
START DOING
Read Matthew 5:48-6:4. Do you find it easier to give to an organization or institution that helps people (i.e. church, non-profit, etc.) or to give it directly to someone in need? How does giving to one or the other tempt us to not do both? Which area are you most challenged to see radical generosity emerge - giving to the church or giving to people you see in need?
How is generosity linked to multiplication and spreading your faith? How would not being radically generous limit your effectiveness at making disciples and multiplying your faith?
START PRAYING
Each person share what your next step to become radically generous will be. Maybe it is the Generosity Challenge at church. Maybe it is meeting a need and giving above your tithes to those in need. Pray for each person to follow the heart of God and become radically generous as we each pursue radical Christianity.
