Feed a Camper at Wilderness Christian Assembly
The food drive for camp will happen over the course of the next three Sundays. The first Sunday, April 11th, we will ask our church body to sponsor breakfast at $2 per camper. (The camp had right about 100 campers last year). The second Sunday, April 18th, we will ask our church body to sponsor breakfast for campers at $3 per camper and the fourth Sunday, April 25th, we will ask the church body to sponsor supper for campers at $4 per camper. <br>Donations can be made in cash or check (payable to Wilderness Christian Assembly) and placed in the box on display in the lobby or you can text "camp" to 84321 to give or give online at kccwired.com. All of the monetary donations will go to feeding the campers this summer at Wilderness. It costs roughly $6,700 to feed all of the campers and staff in a given summer. Our progress for how many campers we have raised money to feed this summer will be on display in the lobby for the next three Sundays.

Parent-Child Dedication
On Mother's Day each year, we give parents an opportunity to dedicate their children, usually newborn children, to Jesus. This is NOT a salvation ceremony, but simply a ceremony in which parents can declare their intent to raise their child to know and love Jesus, and the church can declare its intent to hold the parents accountable and to provide the environments that will help the parents be successful on their journey. The Parent-Child Dedication includes not just children that have been born since last Mother's Day but includes those parents with young children who may have never had the opportunity to dedicate their children to Jesus. It may be a family new to faith or new to church in general. We are also changing the name to "Parent-Child Dedication," as opposed to "Baby Dedication." This is as much a ceremony for the parents as it is for the children. If you would like to participate in this ceremony on Sunday, May 9th, please register online by Sunday, May 2nd. We will need the names of the parents dedicating the child/children, the name & picture of the child, & their birth date. We plan to do both services to accommodate people who attend both services.
