Sermon Notes, March 28, 2021
Jesus died on the cross, and on the third day God raised Him from the dead. This is the core of Christianity. But sometimes we forget that something important happened between those two great events. According to all four Gospels, between His death and resurrection, Jesus was buried in a tomb. In this sermon, we consider why this simple fact is so important to our faith by focusing on three contributions the burial of Jesus makes to the Bible’s account of what Jesus did for us.
