Superficial or Sacrificial
SUPERFICIAL worship says, “I believe God will give me what I want.” SACRIFICIAL worship asks, “What does God want from me?”
The Jews wanted a CONQUERING Messiah who would drive out Roman occupation. They got a HUMBLE Messiah who would die in their place.

Focusing on an uncertain future brings FEAR that results in paralysis. Focusing on the return of Christ brings daily attentiveness that results in life-long FAITHFULNESS.
