Prayer: Lord, just as Paul reminds us, if we "have it all together" but don't have love, we have completely missed the heart of the matter. FRIDAY: The Common Mistake
Reading: Matthew 6:14-15
Prayer: Too often, Lord, we come to Your table asking for forgiveness—sometimes even with a casual sense of entitlement, and we harbor unforgiveness against someone who has hurt us or done something against us. Today, I'm reminded that I have sinned against You and I need Your forgiveness. Forgiveness is available, and You ask me to forgive in the same way. I declare that I can't do that without Your help. Give me courage to forgive others in the same way You have forgiven me. May my communion with You give me the added grace to forgive completely.
