What do you crave?
What does Greed look like to you? Whatever Greed looks like to you, it’s likely it doesn’t look like the person you see when you look in the mirror. Greed is someone else, not me.
“Greed is an attachment to a good thing gone wrong.” - Glittering Vices, Rebecca DeYoung. Which means that Greed is not really a matter of finance, it’s a matter of the heart.

Greed displaces important things in our life by elevating the object of our cravings.

if we want our hearts to be with God’s Kingdom and with the people around us and with the causes we are passionate about...and it’s not...then there is a really simple, but extremely hard thing we can do...we can give our treasure to God’s Kingdom, to the people around us, and to the causes we are passionate about.
Because in the end, our Heavenly Father doesn’t need or want our money, He desires for all people to place their hearts in his hands and say, “Yours.” It’s not about finance, it’s a matter of the heart.
