Mission Hills is a church family—a family who wants to extend to you the same love, hope, and joy that we have received. We know that we cannot be all things to all people. But we do want to be one thing to all people. We want to be the place where anyone, of any age, of any level of spiritual maturity, of any economic class, of any ethnicity, of any church background—or no church background—can meet God in a way that transforms their life…forever!

If you are a first time guest, we would love to meet you! Stop by the Welcome Center for a free gift.
We are crazy generous: we mirror God’s outrageous grace with outrageous giving.
We can't out-generous God...but it's a lot of fun trying!
God calls us to be generous with out time, talent, and treasure.
Money can be an obstacle or an opportunity for spiritual growth.
Jesus said, "You cannot serve both God and money." (Mat 6:24)
Giving is better than getting.
'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' (Acts 20:35)
Following God’s principles for our finances is good for us.
Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. (Mark 12:41a)
Our finances say a lot about our faith.
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21)
Financial patterns that lead to faith destinations.
Many rich people threw in large amounts. (Mark 12:41b)
Your Grandma:
$1,500 per month
$50 per day
$2 per hour
$10 = 5 hours of income
Jeff Bezos:
$6,500,000,000 per month
$217,000,000 per day
$9,000,000 per hour
$1,000,000 = 7 minutes of income
What standard am I using to assess my own generosity?
1. Small gifts can make a big difference if enough people give them.
2. Small gifts can represent big trust.
Jesus is more excited about what our generosity reveals than what it accomplishes.
Generosity isn’t just a spiritual thermometer, it’s also a spiritual thermostat.
1. We take our next step of generosity.
2. We practice generosity first.
Giving first honors God. Saving second practices wisdom. Living on the rest builds contentment.
1. What am I doing right?
2. What do my finances say about my trust?
3. What’s my next step of responding to God's generosity?
