Our Faith
•We reveal our need for faith, when we come to God just as we are—unable to even help ourselves (9:24)
•We reveal our lack of faith, when operate independently of God—we don’t see the need to ask for help (9:28).

"Jesus had given the disciples authority to cast out demons. Why, then, could they not cast this one out? Because they were relying on their own power. They were relying on the fact that Jesus had given them authority. But he had not given it to them apart from God. They needed to rely on God… “Apart from me you can do nothing”" (John 15:5)
