FBC Midlothian
Transplant | Week 8
The key misunderstanding about how lives change is that we think it's about our SELF-REFORMATION. We rehabilitate our lives when we realize our sin. This is NOT the biblical picture. We cannot reform ourselves, become loving, or build community on our own. We need regeneration--we need a transplant to save us.

A new command I give to you:
LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
People Building Commands:

Honor one another. (Romans 12:10)
Live in harmony with one another. (Romans 12:16)
Rejoice with one another. (Romans 12:15)
Help one another. (Romans 12:13)
Practice hospitality with one another. (Romans 12:13)
Admonish one another. (Colossians 3:16)
Teach one another. (Romans 15:14)
Encourage one another. (Hebrews 3:13)
Stimulate one another to love & good deeds. (Hebrews 10:24)
This is why GROUP LIFE is so important:
No better context for this kind of loving, for stimulating this kind of loving.
I find no picture of SOLO CHRISTIANITY in the scriptures. None.
Loving God and Loving People are eternally connected!
