It is good to be in the house of God this morning! We are glad that you have joined us this morning in our services. If you are visiting with us for the first time, please fill out a visitor’s card so we can a have record of your visit. If you have any questions concerning our church or any of our services, please ask one of our pastors or door greeters. If you have not received Christ as your Savior, please get with Bro Shawn or Bro Chris so we can talk to you about being saved, what it means, and how to know you have life in Jesus. You can do this at the end of our service during the invitation time or schedule a time when we can come set down with you and visit. Your salvation matters to us and we want to help you to know Jesus as Savior..

As we continue our sermon series, “The Last Words of Christ”, we are on our third statement from the cross. We looked at Jesus’ prayer for forgiveness for those crucifying Him, the forgiveness of the thief hanging next to Him, and now we are looking at His final words to His mother and His disciple John. In all three of these statements, we see the focus of Jesus as He focuses on the needs of others before Himself. Jesus is putting into practice everything He taught and preached. This is a great example for us to follow.

Jesus was making sure His mother was well taken care of before He left her. We as Christians should be focused on our own family in making sure they are taken care of as well. Not just in the material things of this world but meeting their emotional and spiritual needs. Sharing Christ with your family is the most important thing you can do to make sure your family is taken care of. Sharing quality time with your family is more important than you realize. These two acts of service show what real love is!

Youth Revival

We are currently planning a youth revival for March 14th-17th. This time of revival is not just for the youth but for the entire church. We are bringing in a young evangelist and music leader for the week. As our numbers in our youth continue to rise, I think it is prudent to set aside a special time for them to worship dedicated to reach them and their peers.
