Message #5 - How am I actively discovering my blind spots?
Blind spot - an area where a person’s view is obstructed; in anatomy the point in our eye that is insensitive to light - our brain “fills in” the color, texture, and details based on surrounding sight experience.

1) Trusting the Holy Spirit for our Scriptural Blind Spots.
Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit as a guide who can be trusted to lead us into all the truth, speaking from Heaven’s authority, tell us things to come, glorify Jesus, and take what is Jesus’ and manifest it to us.

2) Trusting the Holy Spirit for our Personal Blind Spots.
Our personal blind spots are those where our “trust” is placed in our experiential and desired results.

3) Trusting the Holy Spirit for our Social Blind Spots.
Our social blind spots are those where our trust in our idea of moral correctness and activity misses the complexity of living in a world stained by the ravages of sin!

We shouldn’t demand natural understanding as a primary need; we should embrace spiritual revelation as a Heavenly design.
