1. What heroes did you pretend to be when you were growing up? Why did you want to be like them?<br><br>2. Who are some of your heroes now? Why do you admire them?<br><br>3. Read Luke 10:25–37. Who do you identify with most in the story? How can we take steps toward being like Jesus in being generous with mercy?<br><br>4. When have you, like the Samaritan, clearly seen what needed to be done and acted upon it?<br><br>5. Read Romans 12:1-2. What are the “mercies of God"? Pause for 2 minutes and list as many as you can. Then share with the group.
