Be imitators of God
Nothing too deep here - the word 'imitate' is from the same word 'mimic'. We know what this means. To imitate/mimic God will impact our whole lives - our thinking, our conduct, our speech. And the impact that it will have on us will be one that will ultimately benefit the entire body of Christ.

As dearly loved children...
We are partakers of our parents' nature - and we are partakers in God's divine nature, if we are believers. However, God has some in-communicable traits that cannot be passed down to us. Omnipresence, Omniscience, Omnipotence, eternal.
But he has many communicable traits that can be passed to us - kindness, love, justice, patience. The Fruit of the Spirit, for starters.

God's Love is...
1) Active
2) Sacrificial
3) Voluntary
4) Unconditional
Paul has challenged us with the fact that if we care about the health of the body of Christ, and we want to help maintain its health, then we need to be choosing to imitate God our Father. Specifically, we need to be choosing to walk, or live out our day-to-day lives, loving others the way God loved us.

Online Giving
https://sbcflint.churchcenter.com/givingText Giving
If you would like to set up text giving from your phone, just text any amount to '84321', and you will receive a link that walks you through the setup process. It takes a few minutes to set it up, but then after the initial setup, it will take just a few seconds to give your offering this way. Highly recommend it!
