What is the environment of God’s house supposed to be?

We don’t want to simply TOLERATE the high energy levels of our kids, we want to MODEL for our kids excitement about the right things.

“My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

For me, prayer can be like…
…a technique for falling asleep.
…a trip to the principal’s office.
…giving my “servant” his to-do list for the day.
…a hollow conversation with the wall.
…something other people do.

My prayer target:
I want my prayer life to be like a meaningful conversation with a good friend – including Him in my everyday concerns, struggles and joys.

It’s not so casual that I lose respect for God, but my conversation with
God reflects all of these attitudes:
HUMILITY - RESPECT - FAMILIARITY
DEPENDENCE - GRATITUDE

Are we a “house of prayer”?

My next step with God this week is to...
