Forgives
Jesus has the power to forgive sin.
Scripture: Luke 5:17-26
Jesus uses ordinary people with diverse backgrounds in His work.
Basketball players understand the power of a “triple threat” position. This is a stance from which players can shoot the ball, pass it, or drive to the basket. A player in the triple threat position puts extra pressure on the defense. It’s always good to bring multiple abilities to the table. A lot of people in Jesus’ day thought He was just a good preacher or a powerful miracle worker. While those are both true, they missed what He really had to offer. Jesus’ greatest gift was His authority to forgive sins.
What are the most common ways people describe Jesus? What do the common descriptions reveal about a person’s expectations of Jesus?

Reading Glasses for Kenya

Please drop off new or gently used reading glasses in the South Welcome Center dropbox for people in Kenya who cannot afford them. The glasses must be reading glasses as opposed to prescription glasses. Dallas said the people in Kenya regard these glasses as if they were gold.

Rotating Worship Schedule for Adult Bible Study Classes
We are asking each of our Adult Bible Study Classes to rotate to one of our designated remote worship areas (either the Gym or the LOFT) once per month during Worship Service times. This only affects the Worship Service times (8:30 and 11:00 a.m.) and does not affect your Sunday school class time or location.
