Psalm 139: God is so great!
He knows all things (vs 1-6, 17-18)
- Omniscient
- Knows every aspect of who we are
- His knowledge overwhelms us
He is everywhere (vs 7-12)
- Omnipresent
- Sheol: the place of death, God is still there
- Wings of Dawn: Speed of light, God is there waiting
He is all-powerful (vs 13-15)
- Omnipotent
- Action words: formed, knitted, made, works, woven
He never changes (vs 16)
- Immutable
- God’s plan does not change because He does not change
He is Good (vs 19-22)
- Everything that is against God must be evil
- “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done”
Our Reaction to encountering the Truth of who God is should always result in unwavering Worship
