Expand1- Take a look at the 5 "tests" used to determine what went into the Bible as we know it (these are posted above). Why do each of these matter?
2- Read 1 Corinthians 2:1-5. Why didn't Paul use "lofty words and impressive wisdom" to share the Gospel with the Corinthians? what is the danger?
3- In what ways have you seen the Bible demonstrate reality?
4- Read Romans 1:18-31; how have you seen this reality in action...not just in "the world" but in your own life? Now, read Romans 2:1-16; what is God's plan to deal with this wickedness?
5- The Bible is clear: man is sinful and in need of a Savior. Is this a popular message to our world? Why or why not?
6- Many Christians believe the Bible is trustworthy, timeless, and timely, but do we believe it is enough? Do we believe it is sufficient? What does this look like in your own life?
7- Have you made the decision to trust what the Bible has to say to you and accept Jesus as your Savior?
