Parents: For several months we have been following the Minneapolis Public School’s online learning as a guide for our offering nursery and kids classes at our Sunday services. In February, Minneapolis Public Schools is reintroducing in-person learning for elementary age children. We are now working on our plan to phase back in nursery and kids’ classes as well. Our first of three steps is to build our Corner Church policies and procedures. Zach Yerrick is working on this and welcomes your input. Our second is to gauge family interest. Please email Zach if you are interested or not interested at this time. (zach@cornerchurch.tv) Our third step is to build our team of teachers again. Be looking for opportunities to get involved in the days to come.

Pray for Sam and Laura Witwicke, missionaries to Paraguay. Pray for their physical health, for COVID in Paraguay.

Pray for our city’s leadership, for Mayor Frey and his wife Sarah, for our City Council and for our city’s police force.
First Dialogue Question:

What is it like to have a relationship with someone who just wants to give all their answers?
Second Dialogue Question:

What would life be like if you never forgot anything?
Think about both the good and the bad.
Third Dialogue Question:

Other than just forgetting, for what other reasons do people need to be reminded of things?
Fourth Dialogue Question:

What do you need to be continually reminded of in relationships?
Fifth Dialogue Question:

What is remarkable about the timing of God’s restating of the covenant with Jacob here?
Sixth Dialogue Question:

You will also be recognized while you are doing your worst.
Seventh Dialogue Question:

What insight should we draw from God’s commitment to relationship even while we are at our worst?
Final Dialogue Question:

What do you need to be reminded of in order to “remember” that God is committed to a relationship with you even when you are at your worst?

What do you need to remind yourself?
Take It Deeper Questions:

Read John 1:35-51
As a child, what would it take for you to believe something your brother or sister told you?
What is a disciple of Jesus? Historically and currently?
What insights do you get into following Jesus as you see Jesus calling His first disciples?
What are some different reasons or motives for following Jesus?
John’s last words of chapter one refer to Jacob’s dream in Genesis 28:1-15. Why was reminding the disciples of the ancient covenant important? How is hearing the covenant important for you?

Bible Reading Plan:

Genesis 25
Genesis 26
Genesis 27
