Discussion Questions
1. Think of a time (and share) when you were unwilling to admit that you were wrong. What would have changed if you admitted sooner that you were wrong?
2. Read Psalm 139:23-24. Take note of the verbs that David uses in his prayer to God. Spend a moment as a group praying these verbs, giving God permission to expose any unconfessed sin.
3. Practice listening to God. Select one person to read aloud Matthew 6:25-34 while everyone else quietly listens. When the reading is done, sit quietly inviting God to speak His truth to you directly.
4. Consider what it means to test the voices, spirits, and messages you are hearing. How can you be best equipped to test them? What steps do you need to take in order to be more efficient at testing the spirits?
5. Pray together that God would lead, and direct your thoughts, words, and deeds this week, trusting the work of the Holy Spirit to do this in and through you.
